How to search the collection

Themes are the main way into the collection. Each gathers quotes from different periods and traditions and opens with an introduction explaining how the idea shifted over time — often more useful than any single line, because it shows why the authors disagree with one another.

If you are after a particular author, search works by name too; an author's page shows every quote of theirs in the collection along with a short note on who they were. Keyword search runs over the quote text in the language you are currently using, so the same word can return different results in Croatian and in English.
