Terms of Use
Last updated: 25 August 2026
By using Adagia you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app.
What Adagia is
Adagia shows quotes and sayings in Croatian, English and German, and lets you save favorites, build collections, receive daily reminders and place a widget on your home screen.
Your account
An account is optional. If you create one, you are responsible for keeping your password safe and for what happens through your account. You can delete the account at any time from within the app.
Content and copyright
Quotes are short passages attributed to their authors. We work to keep attributions correct; if you spot an error, tell us at [email protected] and we will fix it.
The app's design, the Adagia name and the logo are ours and may not be used without permission.
If you submit a quote for review, you give us permission to publish it in the app. Do not submit copyrighted material you have no right to.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to bypass security measures, scrape the quote database, submit offensive or unlawful content, or disrupt the service. Accounts that do may be closed.
Purchases
The app offers one purchase: a one-time removal of ads. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
Billing is handled by the App Store and Google Play. Refund requests go through the store where the purchase was made, under its rules.
Ads
The free version shows third-party ads. Advertisers, not we, are responsible for the content of those ads.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Adagia running, but it is provided as it is, with no promise of uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed; continuing to use the app means accepting the change.
Governing law
The law of the Republic of Croatia applies. Disputes fall to the courts in Zagreb, unless consumer law protects you otherwise.
