Imagination is more important than knowledge.
Albert Einstein (1879–1955) was a German-born physicist and the author of the special and general theories of relativity. He received the Nobel Prize in 1921, not for relativity but for explaining the photoelectric effect. After the Nazis came to power he emigrated to the United States, spending the rest of his life at Princeton.
About this theme: Inspiration
The word inspiration literally means breathing in — something arriving from outside. The image is old, and it explains why inspiration is so often discussed as a gift that either comes or does not. The working practice of almost everyone who has made anything says the opposite: it usually shows up in the middle of the work rather than before it.
